Looking for a suitable residential aged care home can be a daunting process. Relocating yourself, or finding an appropriate home for a loved one, is a major life decision. Please contact Intake and Assessment Officer on 03 5629 6096 to discuss your needs and organise a tour of our home.

You can call the My Aged Care contact centre on 1800 200 422 (Free call) to organise an aged care assessment service (ACAS) to determine your eligibility. A referral is required from the ACAS team to access our services.
A resident and family are now given a choice upon entry to a facility as to whether they wish to pay a Refundable Accommodation Deposit (RAD), or an equivalent Daily Accommodation Payment (DAP) or a combination of both. Prospective residents are required to undertake a means test via Centrelink. Services Australia will then communicate with both the resident and Hillview Bunyip Aged Care Inc. on their capacity to pay the relevant permanent care fees. If the means test deems that you cannot pay the fees necessary, then you can enter as a supported resident. If you have any questions or concerns you can discuss these with our Intake and Assessment Officer.
The following accommodation prices apply to our residents:
BILL PEARSON WING ROOM WITH ENSUITE:
Maximum Refundable Accommodation Deposit (RAD) – $550,000
Maximum Daily Accommodation Payment (DAP) – $126.27
Combination payment (50% RAD and 50% DAP) – RAD $275,000 DAP $63.13
Effective Maximum Permissible Interest Rate (MPIR) – 8.38% (effective as at 01 January 2024)
CLASSIC ROOM WITH ENSUITE:
Maximum Refundable Accommodation Deposit (RAD) – $450,000
Maximum Daily Accommodation Payment (DAP) – $103.31
Combination payment (50% RAD and 50% DAP) – RAD $225,000 DAP $51.65
Effective Maximum Permissible Interest Rate (MPIR) – 8.38% (effective as at 01 January 2024)
